Client build

AltSpeak sells AI voices to creators, and the hard part was never the front page. We built the marketing site, the studio behind it, and the five payment rails that carry the money.

## About the Client

AltSpeak sells AI voices to creators: type a script, pick a voice, export audio you can publish. It competes with ElevenLabs on price and on range, and it sells to people who have already burned credits on takes that came out wrong.

## The Challenge

An audio product has to be sold on a silent page. Nobody buys a voice they have not heard, and nobody signs up to hear one. Then the money: their buyers are in Lagos, Manila, Delhi and Jakarta, where a card that works in London often declines. A checkout that only took cards would have quietly lost most of the market the product was built for.

## The Solution

We designed and built the marketing site, the product, the dashboard and the back end that bills for it. The page hands the voices over before anyone signs up, and the interfaces below are the four we built to do it.

- 01 Marketing site Home, pricing, the head to head against ElevenLabs, the cost calculator, the FAQ and the blog.
- 02 The voice studio A React 19 and TypeScript app on Zustand: voice browser, eight-way comparison, emotion editor, pronunciation control.
- 03 Account and billing OAuth and magic-link sign in, a credit ledger that expires lot by lot, usage history, referrals and affiliate payouts.
- 04 Blog and CMS A custom Sanity integration: categories, search, sort and a featured slot, so the client publishes without calling us.
- 05 Five payment rails Two merchants of record, PayPal, and two hosted crypto processors, chosen by country before the page paints.
- 06 Measurement The Meta Pixel paired with the server-side Conversions API, and Microsoft Clarity for session replay.
- 07 Infrastructure Railway from a Dockerfile with PostgreSQL and Redis attached, audio on Cloudflare R2, the site behind Cloudflare.

## The Results

Live in 27 days from first commit. The client publishes posts, moves prices and runs promotions without us, on one codebase carrying the marketing site and the product.

## What It Runs On

Twenty services are wired into this build, and the client runs all of it without us. Five payment rails sit behind one checkout, the country decides which one appears before the page paints, and two speech engines answer behind a single interface.

- Google Cloud Text-to-Speech Chirp3-HD voices, the primary engine behind every take.
- Inworld TTS The second engine, answering behind the same interface as the first.
- Creem Merchant of record for cards across the US, UK, EU, Australia and Canada.
- Dodo Payments India UPI, and Dodo remits the 18% OIDAR GST itself.
- PayPal Subscriptions API v1, for the buyers who will not use anything else.
- Plisio Hosted crypto, USDT-TRC20, with a floor of three dollars.
- OxaPay Hosted crypto behind the guest pack checkout.
- PostgreSQL Thirty-one tables and seventy-three migrations, including the credit ledger.
- Redis Sessions, and the caches sitting in front of them.
- Cloudflare R2 Every generated audio file, handed over on a presigned URL.
- Railway One Dockerfile carrying Python 3.12 and Node 22, Postgres and Redis attached.
- Google OAuth One of the two ways in.
- GitHub OAuth The other one.
- Resend Magic-link sign in, and every transactional email after it.
- Sanity The blog, so posts are the client’s to write and ship without us.
- WhatsApp Cloud API A click-to-WhatsApp ad answers with the India checkout link.
- Meta Pixel and CAPI Browser pixel paired with the server-side Conversions API.
- Microsoft Clarity Session replay and heatmaps across the funnel.
- Sentry Error tracking on the server, wired at application start.
- ipinfo Signup enrichment, feeding the country router that picks the rail.
- Creem US, UK, EU, AU, CA
- Dodo Payments India, 18% OIDAR GST remitted
- PayPal Subscriptions API v1
- Plisio USDT-TRC20, floor of $3
- OxaPay Guest pack checkout
