01THE PROGRAMS

FOUR WAYS TO EARN THE BAR

01PROGRAM

STRENGTH

Barbell squat, bench, deadlift and press. Load goes up when your form earns it.

02PROGRAM

ENGINE

Conditioning built to move air under fatigue, coached pace, not just a stopwatch.

03PROGRAM

SKILL

Olympic lifts and gymnastic work, drilled until the movement stops feeling foreign to you.

04PROGRAM

COMPOUND

The evening group session. Strength, engine and skill stacked into one loud shared hour.

PICK YOUR SESSION. SHOW UP.

Every program is open to trial week members from day one. No separate onboarding queue.

03THE STANDARD

WHAT THE CHAIN GYM SKIPS

COACHED, NOT PLAYED ON A SCREEN

A coach runs every session live in the room, watching your bar path and your breathing, not a looping video.

PROGRAMMING WE WRITE OURSELVES

Every block is built off what you lifted last session, week to week, not pulled from a generic app template.

CLASSES STAY CAPPED

We keep class size small enough that a coach corrects you before your second rep, not your fifth week.

04THE COACHES

A COACH ON EVERY BAR PATH

Head coach Marcus Hale crouched beside a loaded barbell, chalked hands out, briefing a member on her squat setup. Posed by models, not actual staff.

Coach Sofie Larsen pacing the rower line mid-session, stopwatch in hand, calling the pace. Posed by models, not actual staff.

05THE CLUB

We started Plate Works because the beige gym down the road handed us a laminated card and called it coaching. We coach every rep in person, write every program ourselves, and open at 0530, because that's when the desk starts winning.

The empty club floor at dawn: black steel racks, loaded barbells and chalk dust hanging in cold morning light.

06QUESTIONS

ASKED AT THE DOOR

What happens during a trial week?

Seven days, full access. Turn up to any strength, engine, skill or compound session on the schedule, coached like a member from your first rep.

Do I need lifting experience to start?

No. Coaches scale the same session to where you are on day one, then load you up as your technique earns it.

How big are the classes?

Capped, always. Small enough that a coach sees your bar path every set, not just the ones lifting near the mirror.

What if I can't make the morning session?

Sessions run 0600 to 1800 on weekdays. Miss LIFT, catch ENGINE at noon or COMPOUND at six.
