A below-street bar and a tiny open kitchen. The list changes every week. Bottles from growers we know by name. No corkage on Mondays.
We opened in 2018 with a short list and a long memory. The room is small on purpose — candlelight, oak, a marble bar you can lean on — because the wine and the bread should do the talking.
Everything we pour is low-intervention: real farming, native yeast, little or nothing added. Some of it is gorgeous. Some of it is gloriously weird. We'll tell you which is which, and we'll never make you feel small for asking.

A tiny open kitchen, a wood grill, and whatever the market gave us this morning. It changes, like the list. Open the sections.

Most of what's downstairs we tasted at a kitchen table, somewhere muddy, with the person who made it. We back small growers early and pour them by the glass before they're fashionable — which is the only time they're affordable.
If you find something you love, tell the bar. We'll write the name on your bill, and there's a fair chance there's a case of it down the stairs with your name on the chalk.

The bar is always walk-in. For a table, leave us a note and we'll sort it the same evening. Big group? Tell us and we'll build a list around you.
