# What noboringsites gives you

> The three ways to get a site here, what each one costs you once versus every month, and the one thing that is true of all three.

There are three ways to end up with a site from us, and they differ in who edits it in month three. Everything else in these docs assumes you already have one of them.

## The three ways in

Each one is a separate purchase, and you can hold more than one.

- **A template** - a finished site you buy outright and install yourself. You get the source files and you own them.
- **A custom build** - designed around your business and handed to you finished. Paid once, not rented.
- **A plan** - the AI Site Builder. We host your site and you change it by typing what you want.

## What renews and what does not

Only one of the three is a subscription.

- **Templates do not renew.** One payment, one licence, no expiry.
- **Builds do not renew.** The build fee is paid once and the site is yours at handover.
- **Plans renew** monthly or yearly until you cancel. Hosting, the builder and support all sit inside that.
- **Live prices** for all three are on the [pricing page](/pricing/) and on the [template marketplace](/templates/), in your own currency.

## What is true of all three

The same rules apply whichever lane you bought.

- **AI builds it, a human directs it.** Yours is drawn around your business.
- **Your domain stays yours**, registered in your name, wherever it is registered.
- **Your content and your data are yours** at every stage, not held against a renewal.
- **You can leave.** A hosted site can be [exported and moved](/docs/hosting/move-your-site-somewhere-else/) at any time.

## What we will not tell you

Two things we deliberately do not publish, because we cannot evidence them.

- **A turnaround time.** An average made of other people's jobs tells you nothing about yours. A committed launch date is the rush add-on on a build.
- **An uptime percentage.** We do not print one. What we do is check your site every night and show the result in the portal.
