  1. STEP 1

    Come to the desk

    Any open hour. Bring anything with your name on it: a letter, a school diary, a prescription.

  2. STEP 2

    Get typed in

    Helen or Edith types your card while you choose your first loans. Children sign their own; house rule.

  3. STEP 3

    Take the stamp

    Your first book gets the band-dater, you get the card, and the card gets you everything else on this page.

Book the Community Room

The community room set for a meeting: forty folding chairs, sun across the boards

Forty chairs, a lectern, a projector, and the kettle. $15 an hour, free for community groups, bookable at the desk or by phone. The room comes with the cat if the cat decides it does.

Finding us

2 Corbett Square: the brick building with the flagpole, two minutes from the bus stop. Step-free from the square, parking on Mill Lane, bikes lean on the railing like they always have.

Friends of Wattlebrook

The Friends bought the roof in 2016, the boiler in 2019, and every storytime cushion you have ever sat on. Dues fund the building; the bake sale funds the legends. Volunteering counts double.
