Ellsworth

Private office · Est. MMIX

Fewer listings.
Deeper attention.

Ellsworth is a private office for significant estates: around forty instructions a year, acquired and sold with discretion.

I — The Private Office

A brokerage run as a private office.

Ellsworth is not a shopfront. We take on around forty instructions a year: enough to know the market cold, few enough to know every buyer at the table. Each estate is the only one that matters while it is ours.

Most of what we sell never reaches a portal. Discretion is not a service tier here; it is the manner of the house: acquisition, disposal and advisory, conducted quietly and exactly.

The principals

Two principals, no handoffs. The person who values your estate is the person who sells it.

Runs the buy side and keeps the buyer register. Most of his work is never advertised.

II — The Folios

The folios.

Two of the four estates currently in our care. The rest — and the record of what has sold — are bound on their own page.

IV — Services

Three disciplines. One manner.

01

Acquisition

We search, vet and negotiate on your behalf, including houses that will never be advertised. You see five right doors, not fifty open ones.

02

Disposal

A quiet sale is not a slow sale. Preparation, positioning and a shortlist of qualified buyers before the folio ever circulates.

03

Advisory

Valuation for lending or settlement, portfolio strategy, and counsel on when not to sell. Retained by families, trustees and family offices.

V — Appraisal

Request a private appraisal.

A reading, not a pitch. We walk the estate, study the comparables that actually compare, and put a number to it in writing within the week. You will know what your estate is worth and why. What you do next is your decision.
