Dry Down Studio photographs weddings and working brands in quiet black and white. Shot like reportage, finished like a print you will hang, keep, and hand on.

Two rooms, one darkroom
The contact sheet
Every frame here is a real commission or a real wedding. The ring marks the frame the client chose. No composites, no library filler.

From the wedding room

Nobody planned the umbrellas. The best frame of the year rarely asks permission.
Ten minutes before the aisle, the room goes still. We are there for that too.

On set
Call sheets honoured, shot lists cleared, art directors welcome at the monitor. These production frames are from live commissions, with a crew of two to six depending on scope.

QUARTERLY
EDIT
The Quarterly Edit
Four times a year the studio re-edits this site the way a gallery re‑hangs a wall. New work in, weaker frames out, availability updated. You are looking at the current season of the studio, not a museum of its first year.
Folio of record
We forgot Mara was there, which is the point. Then the gallery arrived and my mother cried at frame four. We have looked at these photographs more than any object we own.
Range without hand-holding. She walked a cold location at seven, had the cover frame by ten, and the set wrapped early.
