The tea
Loose leaf, weighed and steeped to a timer, then binned after four hours no matter how busy we are. Bitter, stewed tea is the fastest way to ruin a good drink.
Slurp Club started in 2021 as one blender and a stubborn idea: that a five-dollar drink deserves the same care as a fancy coffee. Two shops later, we still cook every pearl in-house and still refuse to touch powder.
The first Slurp Club was a hole-in-the-wall on Sundae Street with a hand-written menu and a queue that spilled onto the sidewalk by week three. Turns out people can tell when the pearls are cooked fresh.
We opened the Harbor Walk shop in 2024 with a bigger dessert case and a walk-up window, and swore we would keep the same rule we started with: nothing powdered, nothing pre-made, nothing we would not drink ourselves.

Tapioca cooked in small batches and finished in black sugar all day long. Each batch has a ninety-minute window, then it gets retired and a fresh pot goes on.
Cut fresh every morning, blended to order, never poured from a carton of syrup. If the mango is not good that week, the mango drinks come off the board until it is.
Zero percent means zero. We would rather you get the drink you asked for than the one that is easier to sell.
Fresh milk, real fruit, brewed tea, cooked pearls. No powder, no non-dairy creamer hiding in the milk tea.
We ask twice if we have to. A cup with your name spelled right is a small thing that somehow matters a lot.
Retired pearls and day-old fruit go to the staff and a local shelter run, never in the bin if we can help it.
Both shops are built to be hung out in: rounded booths, a wall of topping jars, and enough pink that your camera roll will not survive. Free wifi, a shelf of board games, and a window seat worth fighting for.

Two shops, both open late, both pouring the full menu. Pick the one nearest you and come make some noise.
