Chapter IV

Admissions

The process printed with its dates, the fees printed with their inclusions, and a promise held all year: we reply within two school days.

The journey

Five steps, in order

  1. 01

    Enquire

Write or call the admissions office. You will hear back within two school days with the prospectus pack and the next open-morning dates.

  2. 02

    Visit

Come on a school morning - a tour while lessons run, led by the Principal or the Registrar, with time for the questions that matter to your family.

  3. 03

    Apply

One form, one referee from the current school, and the most recent report. No application essay is asked of a nine-year-old.

  4. 04

    Assessment morning

A morning in a real classroom with the year group, plus short literacy and number tasks. We assess readiness, not rehearsal.

  5. 05

    Offer

Offers are posted in writing with fourteen days to accept. Where we cannot offer, we say why, and what would change the answer next year.

Request a school-morning tour

Tell us the year group and a morning that suits. The Registrar, Mrs Eleanor Bryce, replies within two school days.

The last word belongs to the visit.

Everything in this prospectus is a claim. A school morning at eight o'clock is evidence. We would be glad to show you.
