OFFCUT is an independent drop studio. Each capsule is cut in a small numbered run from sourced mill-end and deadstock cloth, then retired. When a drop sells out, that is the end of it.

The studio rule

We cut small runs from cloth that already exists

A capsule starts with cloth we buy by the roll: mill-end runs and deadstock, and factory surplus that was never used. We pattern a small run around what each roll gives us and cut it on the bench, and each piece gets a number. The cloth is finite, so the run is too.

Sourced cloth

We buy mill-end and deadstock cloth by the roll. We never mill to order.

Small runs

Twenty to sixty pieces a drop, however much the roll gives us.

No restocks

Sold out means gone. We move on to the next roll.
