01 — THE RITUAL
How an hour works
First time in a cat lounge? There is a small ritual to it, and the cats wrote most of the rules.
Book the hour
Pick a session and pay when we confirm. Ten guests per hour, never more, so the room stays calm.
Shoes off, hands washed
Through the paper vestibule, coats on the hooks, thirty seconds at the basin. The cats notice clean hands.
Sit low. They come to you
Take a cushion and your drink arrives at the low table. Wand toys are out; laps are earned, not taken.
Fall in love? Say so
Every resident is adoptable through Paper Lantern Rescue. Tell the counter and we set up an interview.

04 — THE COUNTER
Matcha, purin and the good pour
The counter side is a real kissaten, not an afterthought. Whisked-to-order matcha, hand-drip coffee, and a custard purin we burn on purpose.

The counter is walk-in, no booking needed, and sits on the other side of the glass from the lounge. Watch the cats with your coffee even without a ticket.
05 — THE CATS COME FIRST
Run for the cats, licensed for both rooms
Cat cafes earn scepticism until they show their homework. Here is ours, on the wall and on this page.
An off-duty loft the cats reach through a staff-only hatch. When a cat clocks off, no guest can follow.
Vet check every month, vaccination and microchip before any cat meets the room.
Food is prepped behind the counter wall; the litter room vents outside. Two doors between whiskers and your toast.
Ten guests per hour, cats always outnumbered by cushions. Nobody is passed around, ever.
REHOMING PARTNER
Every resident arrives through Paper Lantern Rescue and leaves through their adoption process. Sixty-one cats so far, each one off this floor and onto somebody's sofa.
The cats are expecting you.
Saturday fills first, mornings stay gentle, and Quiet Hour is the best-kept secret on the board. Pick yours and the kettle goes on.
