THE POUR LIST

The concrete work

Every line of work we pour, with the bands, the specs and the finishes that fit. Bring the picture in your head; leave with a number.

Driveways & crossings

from $8,900

Broom, exposed or coloured. Tear-out, disposal and council falls included in the written quote.

Tear-out to broom finish in four days on most single driveways. Crossings and aprons formed to the falls the council wants, joints cut the same day, sealer scheduled before we leave.

Timber formwork and steel mesh set out over compacted base before a pour

Slabs & foundations

from $4,200

Shed bases, garage slabs, footings. Engineered mixes, mesh and rebar where the loads say so.

Slabs carry buildings, so slabs get engineering. Compacted base, membrane, chaired steel and a laser-checked surface, with the mix and cover written into the quote.

Spec questions, straight answers

What mix goes into a driveway?OPEN

A 32 MPa (4,600 PSI) engineered mix on driveways and slabs. Colder-climate pours get air entrainment so freeze and thaw cycles do not eat the surface.

Mesh or rebar?OPEN

Steel mesh in every driveway, chaired mid-slab so it works. Rebar where loads concentrate: footings, thickened edges, truck aprons. It is in the quote by name.

How do you handle drainage?OPEN

Falls are set in the formwork, not promised afterwards. Where water has nowhere to go we cut in channel drains and show them on the joint map.

When do you cut the joints?OPEN

Same day as the pour or first thing next morning, before the slab picks its own line. The joint map is part of your handover pack.
