What if the purchase falls over?
You pay for the work already done, capped at half the fixed fee. If contracts have not exchanged, you never pay the full amount.
When do I pay?
Half at exchange, half at settlement. Nothing before we have started work, and never a surprise invoice after.
What is not included?
State duties, registration fees and any lender charges are set by third parties, not by us. We itemise them at cost before you commit, so the total is still known in advance.
Does the fee change if things get complicated?
No. Complicated is the job. The fee was fixed on the day you engaged us, and it stays fixed to settlement.
Do you charge per question?
No. Questions are unlimited, and they are answered by the conveyancer who owns your file, not a call centre.
