Face
For those who want to look like themselves, only rested.
- What it involves
- Facelift, eyelid and brow surgery, and rhinoplasty, assessed in natural light and planned conservatively.
- Anaesthesia
- Usually a general anaesthetic for facelift and rhinoplasty. Eyelid and brow surgery is often managed under local anaesthetic with sedation, with you home the same day.
- Hospital stay
- Day surgery for most eyelid and brow procedures. Facelift and rhinoplasty usually include one overnight stay.
- Typical recovery
- Most patients return to desk work in ten to fourteen days after a facelift, and inside a week after eyelid surgery. Bruising settles over two to three weeks. Your plan may differ.
Breast
For those whose shape has changed, or never felt proportionate.
- What it involves
- Augmentation, reduction, lift and reconstruction, sized to your frame rather than to a chart.
- Anaesthesia
- A general anaesthetic in every case, with Dr. Voss attending from induction to emergence.
- Hospital stay
- Day surgery for most augmentation. Reduction, lift and reconstruction usually include one overnight stay.
- Typical recovery
- Most patients return to desk work in one to two weeks and resume full training by six weeks. A support bra is worn day and night for the first month. Your plan may differ.
Body
For those after weight change or pregnancy, when training has done what it can.
- What it involves
- Abdominoplasty, liposuction, and arm and thigh surgery, with skin quality assessed honestly first.
- Anaesthesia
- A general anaesthetic for abdominoplasty and larger liposuction. Smaller areas of liposuction may be managed under local anaesthetic with sedation.
- Hospital stay
- Abdominoplasty usually includes one to two nights in hospital. Liposuction is most often day surgery.
- Typical recovery
- Most patients are walking the same day and return to desk work in two to three weeks after abdominoplasty. Compression garments are worn for six weeks. Your plan may differ.
Skin & Refinement
For smaller concerns that still take up space in the mirror.
- What it involves
- Scar revision, lesion excision and earlobe repair, many under local anaesthetic on a day list.
- Anaesthesia
- Most refinement procedures are performed under local anaesthetic, with you awake and home within the hour.
- Hospital stay
- Almost always a day list, in the rooms or at the hospital. There is no overnight stay.
- Typical recovery
- Sutures come out at five to fourteen days depending on the site. Most patients are back at work the same week. Your plan may differ.

What happens if Dr. Sava declines to operate?
She tells you why, plainly, and nothing is charged beyond the consultation. About one in five consultations ends without a recommendation for surgery. Where another route would serve you better, she says so and points you toward it.
How is anaesthesia managed?
Every general anaesthetic is attended by Dr. Julian Voss, a consultant anaesthetist, from induction to emergence. No anaesthetic is without risk, and yours is assessed before any date is set. You will meet the anaesthetist, and the plan, in advance.
Will there be scars?
Yes. Every incision leaves a scar, and anyone who suggests otherwise is not being honest with you. Scars are planned to sit in natural creases and shadow lines, and most settle over twelve to eighteen months. You will see examples in the plate library before you decide.
What if I am unhappy with the result?
Tell us early. Reviews run for up to a year, and concerns are examined rather than deflected. Where a revision is indicated, it is planned with the same candour as the first operation, and any revised fee is put in writing before you decide.
How should I choose a surgeon?
Check the register. Ask who examines you, who operates, and who reviews you afterwards, and be wary if the answers differ. Ask to see unretouched results for patients who started where you are. Then take your time. A good decision survives a second opinion.
Can I get a price over the phone?
No, and deliberately so. A responsible fee depends on an examination, the theatre time, and the anaesthetic. Your fee is quoted in writing at consultation, in full, before anything is booked.
