Bring your website and business systems together.
An enquiry should not mean copying the same details into several tools. We build the websites, apps and connected workflows that help you turn enquiries into work.

What is a business system, and when does a website need one?
A business system is the software behind a website that handles quoting, bookings, an internal tool or a link between two services your business already runs. Your website needs one once staff start retyping the same detail into more than one place, or a step in the process depends on somebody remembering it. The scope is set out in a written quote before any work starts, the same as a website, and we work through the screens and the workflow with you until it fits how the business actually runs.

Once the system is handed over and paid for in full, it is yours, and copyright in the build passes to you. If the system includes its own website or customer app, hosting, the database and any integrations run on your subscription, with a domain bought separately when one is needed. Our AltSpeak build shows what a finished system looks like end to end, from the accounts to the payments.
Start with the work you want off your desk.
Show us what happens after an enquiry arrives. Where does someone re-enter information, wait for an approval or chase a missing detail? That process gives us a useful starting point for the build.
- Enquiries and CRMCapture the information you need and connect it to the people who handle the next step.
- Quoting and bookingsDefine the pricing rules, availability and approvals your workflow needs.
- Internal toolsGive staff an appropriate view of the records and actions needed for their work.
- Customer appsScope accounts, permissions and the tasks customers should be able to complete themselves.
Can I keep the tools we already use?
A custom project can connect existing services rather than replace them. We assess the integration options, the information that should move between tools and how exceptions should be handled before proposing the build.
How is a business system's scope agreed?
Business systems are quoted individually. The users, data, rules and integrations determine the work. An intro call lets us understand the problem and decide what needs to be specified next.
- Map the processWho uses it, what they need to do and where the current process causes trouble.
- Define the buildThe screens, connections and responsibilities, with the price and delivery arrangements recorded.
- Test the full flowSuccessful actions, invalid input and failures in connected services need to be considered together.
- Plan ongoing supportDecide who manages access, operates the system and handles future changes.
What does a complete business system build look like?
Our AltSpeak work covers its website and SaaS application, including accounts, subscriptions and payment integrations. The case study shows the scope and the product, with the client’s own feedback.
Before We Start
Do we need a custom system?
Only if the problem justifies it. If an existing product fits, we can discuss integrating it with your website. Custom work is worth assessing when your rules or process need something different.
Can this connect to our current CRM or booking tool?
Tell us which tools you use and what you want them to share. We check their integration options and limitations before confirming the scope.
Can we start with one part of the process?
Yes. A focused first scope can address one useful process while leaving room for later work. We agree what that first release includes before building it.
