Moving to noboringsites is the build plus the migration add-on: US$1,500 for the build and US$400 for carrying your site across. It is one payment and nothing renews. Answer the questions on the way in and a standard move is priced on the spot, whole, before you pay anything; a site the quiz cannot describe is quoted on its own.

Your site does not go down. It stays live and answering the whole way through, and nothing on your domain changes until you have seen the new one and approved it. The switch is one DNS change we make for you, and DNS is not a cliff: your old site keeps answering anyone who has not picked up the change yet. If something looks wrong after the switch, the same change points it straight back.

Google decides your rankings, not the person rebuilding your site, so nobody can promise they hold. What noboringsites controls, it does. Every old address redirects to its new page on the day of the switch, so links and bookmarks aimed at your old URLs still land. Your content comes across with them, and the titles, descriptions, sitemap and structured data are set deliberately instead of left to a theme.

Your pages, blog posts and images come across to the new site, rebuilt properly rather than pasted in, to the scope you set in the brief. Your words stay your words. If there is a page you have wanted to kill for two years, the move is when it goes; if a page should stay exactly as it reads, say so in the brief and it does.

Your email is not part of the website move. Mail runs on its own DNS records, the MX ones and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records beside them. The move changes the record that says where your website lives. It does not change those. Your inbox, your addresses and your mail provider stay exactly as they are.

Your domain stays registered in your name, at the registrar you already use, before, during and after the move. We never take ownership of it and we never move it into an account of ours. One record inside it changes, the one pointing at your website, and we only ever point it where you tell us to.

No, because nothing gets exported. Your live site is the brief: we read what is published, the pages, the copy, the structure your customers already know how to find, and rebuild from that. WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and GoDaddy all export differently and most of them lose something on the way out. None of that is on the path here.

A rebuild changes what happens after someone lands on your site. It does not change how many people land there. If nobody knows you exist yet, a new site alone will not fix that, and we would rather say so than take the money and let you find out. What it does fix: slow pages, a site that reads badly on a phone, one that never says plainly what you do, one that Google and the AI answer engines cannot read properly. Analytics is wired in and tested before handover, so you can compare the months either side instead of guessing.

Leaving costs nothing, and the terms are written down before you arrive. Your domain never left your name, so you point it wherever you want, and on full payment of a build we assign you the copyright in it, so you run, host and change the site anywhere, or have anyone else change it. Said now rather than at the door: the export cannot carry our hosting setup or the keys that live in our accounts, so standing the site back up elsewhere is a developer’s job.
