What hosting on a plan includes

Hosting is part of every plan rather than a line item beside it. This is what sits behind your site once we are hosting it.

What is included#

Four things, and none of them is an add-on.

• Hosting for the site and everything it serves.
• SSL that renews itself, so the padlock does not lapse on a date nobody diarised.
• Cloudflare's network in front of your site.
• Support. If a site we host breaks, email us and it is ours to fix.

What is not there to break#

Some of the value is an absence.

• No plugin marketplace, so there is no plugin layer waiting to be patched.
• No theme to update on somebody else's release schedule.
• No server of your own to keep alive.

Several sites on one plan#

Hosting follows the account.

• A plan can host more than one site.
• The credit allowance is shared across them rather than split.
• Each site keeps its own domain, its own pages and its own staging.

What it does not cover#

Two boundaries worth stating plainly.

• Your domain registration. It stays in your name at your registrar and you renew it.
• Anything the builder will not do. A bespoke application is a custom build, not a hosting question.

Where the price is#

Hosting is not sold separately.

• It is inside the plan price, on the pricing page, in your own currency.
• A custom build includes the first two months without a plan.
