Hosting included with a build

A custom build is paid once, and two things come with it that are otherwise part of a plan. Neither commits you to anything afterwards.

The two months of hosting#

Hosting is part of the build fee rather than a separate line.

• The first two months are included with the build.
• It is the same hosting a plan gets - SSL that renews itself and Cloudflare's network in front of the site.
• After those two months you either start a plan or take the site anywhere else.
• We help you move it either way. Leaving is not a support ticket we drag our feet on.

The domain#

One domain for the first year is included.

• We register it in your name, never ours.
• It covers an ordinary .com, .com.au or .au at standard registration price.
• A premium name, or one somebody already owns, is quoted separately.
• Renewal after the first year is yours, at your registrar, on your card.

Bringing a domain you already have#

If you already own one, nothing changes about it.

• The registration stays where it is, in your name at your registrar.
• We never hold it.
• The steps are on connect a domain you already own.

What is not included#

Two things people reasonably expect and should not.

• Buying domains from us as a product on its own is not open yet. The included one is part of a build, not a shop.
• Hosting past the two months is a plan, priced on the pricing page.

When the two months are up#

Three ways it can go, and all three are normal.

• Start a plan and nothing about the site changes.
• Move it to your own host. Ask for the export and we send it.
• Hand it to another agency. The perpetual licence you got at handover covers that.
