Docs / Search, analytics and enquiries
Read your traffic in the portal
Your site's traffic is in the portal beside the site itself, rather than in a separate tool you have to keep a second login for.
On this page
Your site's traffic is in the portal. It sits beside the site rather than in a separate product with its own login.
Where to find it#
Two clicks from any page on this site.
- Open /portal/ and sign in.
- Choose the site, then Analytics.
What to look at first#
Three questions answer most of what a site owner needs.
- How many people came, and whether that is more or fewer than last month.
- What they looked at, so you know which page is doing the work.
- What they did next, because a visit that ends in an enquiry is the only one that pays.
Reading it honestly#
Three habits that stop a dashboard misleading you.
- Compare like with like. A week against the same week, not against a holiday.
- Watch the trend, not the day. One quiet Tuesday is weather, not a signal.
- Follow the enquiries, not the visits. A page with fewer visitors and more calls is the better page.
Connecting your own tools#
The portal is not the only option.
- Integrations lists what connects to a site we host.
- You can run your own analytics alongside ours if you already have one you trust.
What we do not do with it#
Worth saying, since it is your visitors' data.
- We do not sell it.
- What we collect, and which processors see it, is set out in the privacy policy and summarised on what data we hold, and where.
